Downloading MP3s from eSnips.com without logging in
Honestly, I hate the hassle of registration in web sites coz its taking too much of my time. eSnips.com is a great site to listen to MP3 songs online. You can find almost any song here from their members. By visiting eSnips.com, i was able to find a way around downloading MP3 songs directly without logging in the site.
1. Find a song you like to download using eSnips’ search function. Open the page.
2. If you are using firefox, press CTRL+U to view the page source. Here you can find the exact location of the MP3 song in the server. If you are using IE, (too bad, you can’t do this trick! just kiddin..) just view the page source.
3. Pres CTRL+F to find for the keyword ‘nsdoc’. Look for something like
makeWMPlayer("/nsdoc/1c0e459b-ca3a-476a-a648-be2c27e45e4f/?id=1176089459456", -1);
4. Now copy the URL to your browser’s address bar. Append the code to http://www.esnips.com. In this case, http://www.esnips.com/nsdoc/1c0e459b-ca3a-476a-a648-be2c27e45e4f/?id=1176089459456
5. NOw, choose to save the file in your computer.
As easy as that. Enjoy!

OK found another way to make this work. But you need firefox browser + firebug plugin. Open the page, press F12 to open the firebug console. Click the ‘All’ tab and then ‘Net’. You will see all the files loaded on the page. Find the one with the .mp3 extension (or whatever file type it is). Click on it and enjoy downloading the file. eSnips changed the convention to something like:
http://www.esnips.com/nsdoc/753156e0-c3ef-41a4-a2f1-2be536ad213c/ts_id/1207982024886/ns_flash/file1.mp3

you can right click on the player (the one with play/stop) > properties > then copy the text from the “location” and paste it on your browser’s address bar > save.
